Return & Exchange Policy
At Mohini, we are committed to providing exceptional products and customer service. Due to the special nature of bridal wear, occasion wear, jewelry, and custom merchandise, the following policy applies to all purchases.
ALL SALES FINAL
Unless otherwise required by law, all in-store purchases are final sale. Refunds are not provided for merchandise purchased in person.
Any garment that has been altered and delivered is considered accepted by the customer. Future alteration requests are subject to Mohini's approval and may incur additional alteration fees.
ELIGIBILITY FOR EXCHANGE – ONLINE PURCHASES
At the sole discretion of Mohini, an exchange or store credit may be considered for eligible online purchases only if all of the following conditions are met:
• The item is unworn, unused, unwashed, and in original condition.
• All original tags, labels, packaging, and accessories are attached.
• The return request is initiated within 3 calendar days of delivery.
• The original sales receipt or proof of purchase is provided.
• The item is not a bridal gown, lehenga, saree, custom order, altered item, jewelry, accessory, clearance item, sale item, or special-order merchandise.
Approval of any exchange or store credit is at the sole discretion of Mohini management.
NO RETURNS OF USED OR WORN MERCHANDISE
Items showing signs of wear, use, damage, odors, stains, makeup marks, perfume, deodorant residue, pet hair, laundering, alterations, or missing tags will not be accepted for return, exchange, or store credit.
Mohini reserves the right to inspect all merchandise and make the final determination regarding the condition and eligibility of any returned item.
CUSTOM ORDERS, SPECIAL ORDERS & ALTERED ITEMS
Custom-made, specially ordered, personalized, modified, or altered merchandise cannot be cancelled, returned, exchanged, or refunded once an order has been placed.
All deposits paid toward custom orders, special orders, or made-to-measure merchandise are non-refundable.
Any damage occurring after merchandise has been picked up, delivered, or accepted by the customer is not eligible for refund, exchange, repair, or replacement.
Special customization like size adjustment may not maintain the exact design pattern due to material availability or other technical limitation.
Once the alteration item is picked up from store, same cannot be returned. Customers are advised to try the item during pick up.
DEFECTIVE MERCHANDISE
Customers are responsible for inspecting merchandise upon receipt or pickup.
Any claim of a manufacturing defect must be reported within 48 hours of receipt or pickup. Mohini reserves the right to inspect the merchandise and determine whether the issue is the result of a manufacturing defect or normal wear and tear, misuse, improper handling, alteration, storage conditions, or damage occurring after delivery.
If a manufacturing defect is verified, Mohini may, at its sole discretion:
• Repair the item;
• Replace the item with the same or comparable merchandise; or
• Issue store credit.
No cash refunds will be provided.
SPECIAL EVENTS, EXHIBITIONS & TRUNK SHOWS
Purchases made at exhibitions, trunk shows, pop-up events, fashion shows, temporary sales events, or other promotional events are final sale unless otherwise stated in writing by Mohini.
STORE CREDIT
Where store credit is approved:
• It has no cash value.
• It cannot be redeemed for cash.
• It is non-transferable and may only be used by the original purchaser.
• It may be subject to expiration where permitted by applicable law.
CHARGEBACKS & PAYMENT DISPUTES
Customers agree to contact Mohini directly and provide a reasonable opportunity to resolve any concerns regarding merchandise or services before initiating a payment dispute or chargeback.
If a chargeback is initiated contrary to this policy, Mohini reserves the right to provide supporting documentation to the card issuer or payment processor, including but not limited to signed invoices, sales receipts, customer communications, fitting records, alteration records, photographs, delivery confirmations, and policy acknowledgments.

By completing a purchase, the customer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to Mohini's Return, Exchange & Cancellation Policy.
